The team at KMA Machines is unique in our industry. While parts of our business have team members that span the world, our home base in Berlin is where we tirelessly design, build, manufacture and generally put our devices together, with total passion and dedication. As a close-knit group of musicians, engineers and artists, we all love what we do and while we take the business of what we do extremely seriously, we hope to still have some fun while we’re at it.

Current Openings

Production Assistant (Full Time)

Our in-house product assembly team is expanding and we are looking for a new full-time Production Assistant at our HQ here in Oberschöneweide, Berlin, Germany.

This job mainly entails the following: soldering components to PCBs, assisting in the production of enclosures through use of CNC, press drills and UV printers, wiring and testing pedals, as well as fault finding any issues that may occur during production, all while maintaining a high-level of attention to detail and ensuring adherence to KMA Machines quality control standards and practices.

Our production team is a growing, hardworking and welcoming crew and we are looking forward to continuing to expand our happy team.

Working Hours

  • This is a full-time job (Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours a week)
  • Usual hours are 10 AM – 6 PM (10:00-18:00) but are flexible with negotiation

Main Tasks

  • assembling PCBs
  • soldering THT/SMT components to PCBs
  • assembling/wiring/soldering and testing pedals
  • fault finding any issues that may occur during production
  • assisting in the production of enclosures through our CNC, using press drills and UV-printers
  • final packing of product

Required Skills

  • soldering of THT-Parts
  • skilled in handling of mid-size wrenches, screwdrivers and other small tools
  • working with focus and concentration
  • high-level of attention to detail
  • ensuring adherence to KMA Machines quality control standards and practices
  • experience with MS office applications (Word/Excel)

Optional, but desirable skills

  • soldering of SMT parts
  • working on press drills, CNC mills and UV-printers
  • playing and/or having an interest in guitar/bass/synth etc.

 

Annual starting pay is dependent on experience, but we offer a range of employment benefits.
